Last month, The Tasting Room hosted a summer “Rosé All Day” event in collaboration with our partners at Malibu Family Wines. The star of the show was the homemade Frosé (frozen Rosé) crafted by our in-house sommelier. It is cold and refreshing, and not too sweet, a perfect summer cocktail that can be easily made at home and well received at every party or gathering. ENJOY!
Four Seasons Frosé:
- 1 Bottle Rosé from Malibu Family Wines
- 1 Lb Organic Strawberries (cut into small pieces)
- 2 Tbsp Organic Cane Sugar
- 1/8 Cup Le Jay French Cassis
Pour approximately half the Rosé bottle into an ice cube tray fit with twelve cubes. Place in freezer overnight.
Remove Rosé cubes from refrigerator and let sit so that it goes into the blender semi-frozen. Meanwhile, chop strawberries into small pieces and toss with organic sugar cane. Set mixture aside for ten to twenty minutes so that the sugar dissolves and the strawberries produce some juice.
Add strawberry mixture, semi-frozen Rosé cubes and Le Jay French Cassis to a high-powered blender. Blend until desired consistency is reached.
Pour Frosé into your favorite serving glasses and garnish with a ripe strawberry or mint sprig. Serve cold and enjoy!
