In celebration of the holiday season, Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village has built a playful and magical Gingerbread Village inspired by the Southern California coastline as the centerpiece of their lobby. Executive Pastry Chef Patrick Fahy and his talented team dreamed up the ideas for each of the intricate gingerbread houses that make up this completely edible village. The Gingerbread Village includes iconic landmarks from along the Southern California coast including the Queen Mary in Long Beach, the Santa Monica Pier, Malibu palms and the Santa Barbara Zoo. A Polar Express Train runs throughout the village and through a homemade gingerbread tunnel that leads you to the different cities. Every aspect of the Gingerbread Village is made from hand with edible ingredients such as candy, colored icing, sugar and much more.
The village will be on display from November 24 – December 31, 2017 for guests to enjoy. Each house will be auctioned, and the proceeds will be donated to support local charities.
To celebrate the holidays with Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village, guests are invited to book the festive Winter Wonderland package which includes VIP access to the Hotel’s annual Let it Snow event and admission to Holiday Character Breakfast.
